Mainstream education fails underprivileged youth, leaving them unprepared for employment. Calcutta Social Project (CSP) initiates the Computer and Communication Training program to offer alternative vocational skills, computer literacy, and communication education.
Computer and Communication Training aims to equip disadvantaged youth with practical skills demanded by the job market and foster entrepreneurial spirit. CSP guides candidates through a list of certifiable vocational training courses available under the govt and private organizations, with information that includes detailing eligibility, expenses, course duration, and job prospects that they can enroll in independently after receiving skilling in Computer + Communication from CSP. Through Computer and Communication Training, CSP strives to reopen doors to livelihood opportunities and empower academically poor youth from an early age , bridging the gap between traditional education , skilling and market demands.

A. Computer
The computer training program was launched 20 years ago to enable underprivileged youth to become part of the digitalization of the world in the early 2000s when the use of computers and the internet was gathering pace.Today the program has evolved and focuses on upskilling youth from an early age via computer training, giving them the tools to market their skills by improving thier communication skills and providing career guidance to find a sustainable livelihood.
B. Communication
Communication is the key to success. one of the challenges most of the youth from underserved communities face a lack of English language skills, A skill that is so underdeveloped because of the lack of proper teaching in state schools, it becomes an impediment to them becoming employable or being able to market their talents.A key component is trying to teach them communicative English as well as working on improving their vernacular skills too.
